1-Day Tactical Handgun

This class is only available to people who have already completed at least one day of handgun training with Duty to Defend.
Unlike the skill builder class, this class doesn't work on speed. There are no beepers and whistles. But you will be learning a bunch of additional skills such as the sul ready, shooting from very close distances and shooting from very long distances, responses to the sides and to the rear, shooting while moving, different shooting positions, shooting from behind cover, how to clear a doorway, how to deal with multiple adversaries, and low light shooting.
Gear requirements are the same as the 1-Day Defensive Handgun class, plus you will need a handheld flashlight with a tailcap switch for the night shoot. A dedicated light mounted to your gun is welcome but not required, but even if you have a dedicated light you will need a handheld light also. Knee pads and elbow pads are recommended but not required.

Round count varies by shooter, if you want to shoot more, bring more, but bring at least 250 rounds.

This class goes from 8:00am to an hour or so after sunset. (Note, the night shoot is optional. We should be finished with day shooting at 5:00pm)
